About

Nomi shows the timing of your life.

Nomi reads you through two classical East Asian systems that have been used for centuries to read time. One shows when parts of your life tend to open up or slow down. The other maps where they land: work, love, people, money, the life inside you. Nomi only tells you what both agree on.

The reading starts with an engine we built ourselves. Nomi's calculation engine was designed and developed in-house, from the ground up. It uses the exact minute you were born and the exact minute each of the year's 24 seasonal turns begins. Then it finds where the two systems agree. No AI decides any of that.

AI does one job: it puts the engine's results into plain language. Before you see a reading, it is checked against the calculation, and anything the math doesn't support is taken out.

Know when.

FAQ

About Nomi

What is Nomi based on?
Two classical East Asian systems for reading time from the moment you were born. One looks at time: how each year and month of your life tends to go. The other looks at where that shows up — work, love, people, money. Nomi's engine calculates both and gives you the places where they agree.
Which systems, exactly?
The Four Pillars (known in Korea as Saju) and Zi Wei Dou Shu (Purple Star). We keep their vocabulary out of your readings, so you get the meaning without having to learn the terms.
Is this AI-generated?
Not the timing. The timing comes from an engine we built ourselves.
Why does my birth time matter?
With your birth time, Nomi can say more exactly which parts of your life — like work, love or money — each stretch of time touches. If you don't know it, Nomi uses your birth date only, and your reading tells you which parts are less exact.
Does Nomi predict the future?
No. Nomi shows timing — when a stretch tends to open, hold or tighten — so you can decide with that in view. What you do with it is yours. It isn't medical, legal or financial advice.
Why do you need my birthplace?
Your birth time is read in that city's clock. 3 PM in Seoul is not 3 PM in New York, so the place makes the hour right.
Why do you ask She / Her or He / Him?
Nomi uses it for one thing only: to work out the order of your ten-year cycles.
Can I change my details?
Yes, in Settings. Readings you bought stay as they were made. You can make your eight free cards again with your new details at any time.

Account and privacy

Why do I have to sign in?
Your readings are kept with your account, so they're there on this phone and the next. Purchases can't be restored any other way. Sign in with Apple or Google — we don't ask for a password.
What do you keep about me?
Your birth date, time and place, the name you'd like to be called, and the readings you've opened. We don't ask for your legal name. See the Privacy Policy for the full list.
Do you sell or share my data?
No. Your birth details aren't sold or shared for advertising.
How do I delete my account?
Settings → Delete account. It happens right away and removes your details and readings. Purchases you've already made can't be brought back after deleting.
I did my free reading on the website. Where is it now?
In the Nomi app. Open it and sign in the same way you did on the website (the same Apple or Google account). Then go to Settings → Your readings to find your eight cards.
The website says "Welcome back" and won't show my cards.
That's on purpose — your reading lives in the app now. If someone else wants their own reading, tap "Not you? Start a new reading" and sign in with their account.

Purchases and readings

What's free?
Your first reading is free. It has eight cards, and the last one is made for sharing. Longer readings cost extra: this term (about a month), a year, a decade, or Two Paths (you and one other person).
What do I get when I buy a reading?
A full written reading for that stretch of time, kept in your account. You can open it again any time.
I bought a reading on another phone. How do I get it back?
Sign in with the same Apple or Google account, then Settings → Restore purchases.
Can I get a refund?
Purchases are made through Apple, so refunds are handled by Apple: reportaproblem.apple.com, or Settings → your name → Media & Purchases. We can't issue refunds directly.
My reading didn't arrive.
If it couldn't be written, the purchase goes back to you automatically and nothing is used — tap Try again. If it still doesn't come through, write to support@nomiwhen.com with the email you signed in with.
What does "Only 4.3% of people are one" mean on my card?
It's how often your type appears across everyone born in the range we calculate — worked out by our engine, not guessed.
Is Nomi on Android?
Not yet. Nomi is on iPhone; the free reading also works on the website.
